Today, Wisconsin Area Music Industry is proud to add Carrie Zylka, to serve as an At Large Board Member. Carrie joined the Board of Directors on January 5, 2022.
Carrie is the host of the popular Metal Chick Podcast and brings a wealth of communication, marketing and social media expertise to the organization.
An experienced leader in new media and an award-winning podcaster, she is an advocate for mentorship and diversity and has volunteered to chair the Scholarship Committee.
The Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to educate and recognize the achievements and accomplishments of individuals in the Wisconsin music industry. In addition, we endeavor to provide annual scholarships to students and/or emerging artists in the Wisconsin community; promote the Wisconsin music scene; and execute an awards ceremony annually.
